FEAR is the lack of FAITH, a symptom of having no hope.  Fear is the result of people who are reminded of their own mortality and have no answers.

We will all die, it is a fact of life.  It is how we choose to live that defines us.  We can choose to love and help others or we can hoard toilet paper and hand sanitizer.  We can choose to take proper precautions to ensure the safety of everyone, but we do not have to believe everything the news media and politicians are feeding us to make us fearful and mistrusting.

Faith is not knowing what the future holds, but knowing who holds the future.

For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, "Abba! Father!" - Romans 8:15

We are not to have a spirit of fear or to adopt the worldview that this virus, like so many other "world-ending events", will define us. For believers in Jesus Christ know that God our Father has everything under control.  If we live or if we die then we gain.  While we are still in this life we must do what we can to help present the Gospel to others by how we live.  Believers must not give in to fear or worry, but walk in faith and trust serving others even in the midst of this current "crisis."

Every man has within them an understanding of their own mortality and a desire to know a power beyond what they currently understand.  Jesus Christ is that power of Love, a gift from God and available to every man.
